The modern toilet restaurant in Taipei

Unlike the sandwich can kill you restaurant, this one tries to attract their clients in a different ingenious way: actually think you eat in a toilet. And it not so different than that. The 100 seats in the crowded diner are made from toilet bowls, not chairs. Sink faucets and gender-coded "WC" signs appear throughout the three-story facility, one of 12 in an island-wide chain of eateries with a toilet theme.





Customers eat from mini plastic toilet bowls. They wipe their hands and
mouths using toilet rolls hung above their tables, which may be glass-topped jumbo bathtubs.








Some deserts have a strange analogy with other things...


With all these the popularity of the restaurant is big and growing, many people are using their cameras to capture the design, and I can tell I would give it a try and eat there if i ever go to Taipei

   I prefer to keep my toilet clean all the time. i think a dirty toilet is very disgusting.i thin i can´t eat in this restaurant but I must to say this blog catched my attention for all the interesting information that contained. i really liked, i think all this information are very useful and . i really enjoyed reading.    that's really crazy, in my town the toiled is a big hole out side the house, and never anybody could be try to eat something there. I wish see that in my town!

   I read that the restaurant immediately caused a stir in Taiwan with its humorous out-there design. At the start, many people peered in at the restaurant trying to figure out what we were selling then had a big smile on their face when they finally worked it out.

   This is very unusual concept for a restaurant,they have a stylish acrylic toilet design with images of roses seashells or Renaissance paintings.I really want to visit this place and experience dining with these place.

   That is very unique. I think modern restaurants with the touched/ideas of toilets will be effective. I don't know yet if we have that kind of restaurant here in the Philippines. But that's a unique idea.

   It sucks. It looks like you are really in a bathroom. Seating in a toilet bowl, eating in a bath tub, and in a kids toilet. I hate doing things like that but it really looks funny.

   This restaurant looks weird and unique but those are the assets of it. The theme is really interesting though people who only have a strong sense when it comes to eating could eat here.
